Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Phi Beta Omega Chapter Book Award

The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Book Award, founded by the Phi Beta Omega Chapter, will be awarded to a student from Temple University Ambler.

Alpha Kappa Alpha is the oldest African American sorority, founded in 1908 upon principles of scholarship and community service. The Book Award must be used in the semester immediately following receipt of same and is non-renewable.

Criteria:

  • Student must be a sophomore, junior or senior student.

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

  • Involvement in extracurricular activities at Temple University Ambler, focusing on campus and community service.

Nominations may be submitted by the applicant, faculty or staff. The application deadline is Friday, March 24, 2017.

The Student Recognition Committee requires that all nominations forms be thoroughly completed. Please provide as much information as possible about yourself with regard to the requested information.
