James W. Hilty Adult Student Award

  • Candidates must be current or incoming matriculated students and currently take or will take 51 percent of their classes at Temple University Ambler.

Jamie Dickson Memorial Alpha Chi Rho Scholarship

  • Tuition assistance provided by the Phi Kappa Chi chapter of Alpha Chi Rho fraternity to an individual with Ambler as the campus of record who embodies Jamie Dickson's compassion and determination both on and off the Ambler campus, with a preference given to students majoring in Education.

  • Amount: Two awards of $1,500.

  • Tuition assistance given to an undergraduate or graduate Ambler Campus of record student.

Kevin and Georgette Ruth Scholarship

  • Tuition assistance given to an undergraduate or graduate Ambler Campus of record student.

  • Eligibility: a student with demonstrated financial need enrolled at the Ambler Campus. Preference is given to returning students and working adults.

  • Amount: Typical award of $1,000.

  • Eligibility: cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher

  • Awarded annually to a student from the Ambler Campus who embodies Bob’s friendliness, ingenuity, dedication and service to the Ambler Campus.

  • Amount: Typical award of $200

  • Must be an undergraduate student. Minimum GPA of 2.5. Involvement in extracurricular activities at Ambler, with an emphasis on leadership roles, campus service and creativity.

Patricia A. Woods Memorial Award

  • Awarded annually to an Ambler Campus undergraduate student in the pre-health professions who has a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

  • Amount: Typical award of $500.

  • Applicants must be interested in Health Information Management, Nursing, or Pharmacy and must have a sophomore standing or above; students interested in the medical professions, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or enrolled in the RN-BSN program must have a senior standing. All students must have engaged in activities or service related to the health profession.
