Learning Center Lobby
Diamond General, located on the first floor of the Learning Center, is Temple’s convenience store concept and will have a presence at the Ambler and Main campuses. It features salads, sandwiches and beverages in addition to normal convenience store offerings. Diamond General offers a lot of variety in a small, environmentally friendly footprint.
Hours of Operation - Fall 2019:
Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Snack and beverage vending machines are located in Cottage Hall, Bright Hall, West Hall, the Library Building, and the Learning Center.
What exactly is an OWLcard?
The OWLcard is Temple University's ID card. You will need your OWLcard on campus to access your meal plan, recreation services, the library system, services at the ACT Center, Diamond Dollars and many other facilities and services at Temple's campuses.
How do I get my OWLcard?
Generally, freshmen receive their OWLcard as part of Orientation. Graduate and transfer students may visit the Ambler Campus Academic Services Office to obtain their OWLcard. We are located in West Hall are open M-Th from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. You will need your TUid# (9 digits beginning with a 9), and a government issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, military ID, etc.).
Can I send in a photo to use for my OWLcard?
If you are an incoming freshman or transfer student, we strongly recommend that you submit a photo electronically to save time.. Please read the following instructions about proper photo submission. You can print this page for your future reference.
Does it cost anything for an OWLcard?
Your first OWLcard is free. The replacement cost for lost, stolen or intentionally damaged cards is $20. Previously lost cards cannot be reactivated once a new card has been printed.
