The success of Temple Ambler and the Ambler Arboretum has always been dependent on the support of the campus community and valued friends. That was certainly evident by everyone who visited campus for Temple Ambler in Bloom in September.
At Wordsworth Academy in Fort Washington, the Temple University Ambler Aquaponics Lab and Wordsworth administrators are creating an aquaponics system that provides a unique support system for educational programs and an important connection to sustainability and environmental education.
On Saturday, September 16, the Ambler Campus will host Temple Ambler in Bloom, formerly Rhapsody in Bloom, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the Louise Bush-Brown Formal Perennial Garden. The name may have changed, but the mission remains the same.
The evolution of Temple University Ambler started with what was then a revolutionary concept — providing educational opportunities for women at a time when few were available. More than 100 years later, the Ambler Campus continues to play a unique role within Temple University.
