In March, Temple University is giving entrepreneurs — military veterans in particular — a new place and an essential partner to help their business concepts become reality. On March 20 at 3 p.m., Temple’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will cut the ribbon on a new office located in the Ambler Campus Library Building.
Police departments and other branches of law enforcement have provided dedicated support to the Special Olympics since its earliest days. It’s an honor they carry with distinction and pride. On November 10, 10 cadets from the Temple University Municipal Police Academy had the chance to be a part of that tradition during Special Olympics Fall Festival 2017. Temple’s Police Academy training takes place at the Ambler Campus.
A dedicated group of volunteers worked diligently to make Dilworth Park’s Wintergarden, featuring America’s Garden Capital Maze, a reality and Temple students, faculty and staff have been right there in the thick of it building a winter oasis among the high rises.
