Climate Change

From understanding the carbon storage potential of forests through the Temple Forest Observatory to tracking climate change impacts on forest phenology through our participation in the PhenoCam Network, research at the Temple Ambler Field Station advances global change science.

Invasive Species

Increased global trade and travel facilitates the movement of species to novel habitats.  Once established, some of these populations can become invasive, causing significant and detrimental harm to the local ecology and economies.  Temple Ambler Field Station is expanding efforts to track and manage invasive species on our campus and across our region.
