Celebrating Progress in the Gardens
Join us for a PROGRESSive Brunch in the gardens.
See how we are progressing post-tornado by visiting 5 garden spaces and learning about the vision and plans for the future of 5 garden spaces.
Your journey will take you through the future locations of the reimagined Woodland Garden and Sustainable Wetland Gardens
and the new areas for the planned Honor Grove, Campus Heritage Garden and the Climate Resilient Landscape.
A silent and live auction awaits you in the Louise Bush-Brown Formal Perennial Gardens.
Put on your garden party attire and shoes you feel comfortable "offroading" in and support the continuing recovery of the Ambler Arboretum.
Become a Temple Ambler in Bloom Sponsor
Though it has been nearly two years since the Sept 1, 2021, tornado changed the Ambler Arboretum forever, the Ambler Arboretum continues to work to replant and rebuild. To date, we have planted more than 300 trees to reestablish and expand the canopy and teaching collections.
Storm insurance funded the tree planting. It did not, however, cover the cost of repairing the existing gardens and the design and implementation of new spaces, including shrubs, perennials, groundcover and infrastructure. The Arboretum has already raised $25,000 towards this goal and through Ambler in Bloom hopes to raise $25,000 more.
All event proceeds this year will go toward the Arboretum rebuilding two beloved garden areas — the Woodland Garden and the Sustainable Wetland Garden — and creating three new garden spaces, the Campus Heritage Garden, the Honor Grove and the Climate Resilient Garden.
There are several ways to support the fundraiser including sponsoring the event at one of the many offered levels and sharing this opportunity with others.
