Due to continuing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Office of Non-Credit and Continuing Education at Temple University has shifted many of our course offerings to online instruction for the Fall 2021 semester. We believe that the safety of students and staff must be our first priority. While there are a few courses scheduled to be delivered on-campus, most courses will be delivered live, online via the Zoom platform. Gain confidence in your ability to sign with the Deaf community. This course immerses you in silence to help you gain an understanding of the perspective of the hearing impaired and uses videos to demonstrate not only how to make signs, but how to communicate with facial expressions.

Prepare for Graduate School
Prepare for your test day by taking one of our online test preparation courses offered by the Office of Non-credit and Continuing Education at Temple University. Prep courses are offered for the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT), Graduate Record Examinations (GRE), and the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). Choose from a one-hour, free strategy workshop or an in-depth test prep course. All workshops and courses are offered online.

Online Learning

Temple University, in partnership with LERN (LEarning Resources Network), offers online courses with UGotClass. OLLI  (formerly Lifelong Learning Society)

If you enjoy active, stimulating classes with great teachers, topics, and students, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) series of classes is for you! Classes are designed for learners age 50 and up, who enjoy active, stimulating classes and are available to take classes during the day. After paying the fall semester fee ($125), or the yearly membership fee ($290), you may enroll in as many of the OLLI courses as you like. All courses for the Fall 2021 semester will be delivered live online using Zoom. Summer Education Camps

Temple University Ambler offers youths, between the ages of 8 and 17, the opportunity to explore a variety of fun and educational camps throughout the summer. Corporate Training

The Office of Off-Campus Programs and Training delivers lively, interactive, and effective full-day and half-day workshops to corporate locations. Trainers are well-qualified, seasoned professionals with years of experience training and teaching at Temple University and at numerous corporations and organizations. Registration and Payment

Register and pay online for non-credit courses and certificate programs.  Using the online registration system (DestinyOne) you can view current course listings, register and pay online any time of the day or night through our secure network. Check out the wide variety of courses that will help you learn a new skill, change your career or enrich you life! You may also register by phone at 267-468-8500.

Cancellation, Withdrawal and Refund Policy

A participant who withdraws from a non-credit course, in writing, up to one-week prior to the starting date of the course, will receive a refund, minus a $25 withdrawal fee; for all certificate programs the withdrawal fee is $50. For courses costing $75 or less, the withdrawal fee is $10 per course. No refunds will be given after that time. E-mail your withdrawal request to: ncce@temple.edu. Please note that if you do not officially withdraw from a course and you do not attend the course, you are still responsible for payment. Temple University reserves the right to cancel a course for any reason. If the course is canceled, you will be notified and your entire tuition will be refunded.
