Temple University Ambler is often called the "best of both worlds" because students enjoy the benefits of attending a small suburban campus, while having all of the resources of a large research university at their fingertips. Philadelphia is easy to get to and our local communities have so much to offer. So does Temple Ambler – where you can start many of Temple's undergraduate degree and certificate programs. Select degree programs may also be completed at Ambler Campus.
The Temple Ambler community enjoys an active campus life designed with our commuter students in mind. Students interested in housing opportunities may choose to live in University Housing at Main Campus or in private, off-campus housing close to Temple Ambler.

Apply as a first-year student
Begin your journey as a Temple Owl at the Ambler Campus! The First-Year Experience allows students to begin a variety of undergraduate degree programs at Temple Ambler. Some students will then move on to Main Campus to complete their studies, while others stay at Temple Ambler or their entire program. Apply to Temple as a first-year student.
Apply as a transfer student
If you’ve taken 15 or more college-level credits after high school graduation, you could be considered for transfer admission. Learn more about transferring to Temple.
Apply as an international student

First-Year Application Deadlines
Fall Admission, Early Action*: November 1
Fall Admission, Regular Decision: February 1
FAFSA Priority Filing Deadline: February 1
Transfer Application Deadlines
Fall Admission: June 1
Spring Admissions: November 1
Applications are available for both fall and spring semesters beginning August 1.
*By selecting the Early Action deadline, you can submit your application earlier to get an admissions decision earlier. If you apply by November 1, you’ll receive an admissions decision by January 10. Note that using Early Action is not binding, and we generally do admit students at a higher rate who apply by this deadline. If you decided to apply Early Action, you must indicate so on your application to ensure you will receive an admissions decision early.
