Step 1: Complete the Temple Preview
The Temple Preview becomes available to deposited students beginning in April for fall and summer admitted students, and in November for spring admitted students. If you pay your deposit after April/November, the email will be sent two to three business days after your deposit has been received.
Deposited students will receive an email in their TUmail accounts notifying them that the Temple Preview is available through the Next Steps Channel in TUportal.
Step 2: Complete Online Placement Testing and New Student Questionnaire (NSQ)
Step 3: Register for Orientation
Directions to access the Orientation Registration System will be sent to your TUmail account two to three business days after you complete the Online Orientation Preview, placement testing, and New Student Questionnaire (NSQ). A “register for orientation” link will also appear in TUportal in the Next Steps channel when you have the ability to register.
Be sure to visit the Before You Register page for information and requirements that must be completed in order to receive the registration email.
Step 4: Attend Orientation
Attend Orientation, connect with other Owls, register for classes and more!
During orientation, you will learn about the academic curriculum and your major, available services and resources, and other current students. You'll register for fall classes with the assistance of an academic advisor.
