Applying to college shouldn't be hard.
That's the approach we take at Temple University. Find all the information you need to navigate the application process and the contact information for people who can help answer your questions.
Temple University Ambler is often called the "best of both worlds" because students enjoy the benefits of attending a small suburban campus, while having all of the resources of a large research university at their fingertips. Philadelphia is easy to get to and our local communities have so much to offer. So does Temple Ambler – where you can start many of Temple's undergraduate degree and certificate programs. Select degree programs may also be completed at Ambler Campus.
Temple Ambler is a commuter community. Students are able to get involved and enjoy an active campus life. Students interested in housing opportunities may choose to live in University Housing at Main Campus or in private, off-campus housing close to Temple Ambler.
Quality, convenience, affordability and personal attention. You can find all of these at Temple Ambler.
Students with Disabilities
When applying for admission to Temple, students with disabilities should follow the standard application process. The presence of a disability is not considered in admissions; documentation should not be sent to the Admissions office. Disability Resources and Services can answer your questions about the resources available. Learn more about Temple’s disability services.

Dates to Remember
First-Year Application Deadlines
-
Fall Admission, Early Action*: November 1
-
FAFSA Priority Filing Deadline: February 1
Transfer Application Deadlines
- Fall Admission: July 14
- Spring Admission: November 1
Applications are available for both fall and spring semesters beginning August 1.
*By selecting the Early Action deadline, you can submit your application earlier to get an admissions decision earlier. If you apply by November 1, you’ll receive an admissions decision by January 10. Note that using Early Action is not binding, and we generally do admit students at a higher rate who apply by this deadline. If you decided to apply Early Action, you must indicate so on your application to ensure you will receive an admissions decision early.
Costs and Financial Aid
Russell Conwell founded Temple in 1884 as a night school for laborers, because he believed affordability and excellence should not be mutually exclusive. More than 130 years later, that's still our thinking. Learn more about costs, financial aid and scholarships.
