 Give your middle school student a summer of learning, exploration and new experiences at Temple Ambler. 

Now in its 37th year Temple Ambler offers in-person summer programs for students entering 6th through 9th grade in fall 2026. Students explore areas of interest, develop new skills, build confidence and experience what it’s like to learn on a college campus.

Are Scholarship Opportunities Available?

Temple University and the Southwest Belmont Community Association, Inc. (SWBCA) have partnered to expand access to educational opportunities for underserved youth in Philadelphia.

Through this partnership, SWBCA provides financial assistance to eligible students from low-income families, helping make Temple University Ambler summer programs more accessible. The scholarship program supports students through academic enrichment, skill development and leadership opportunities.

Program Registration

Registration is closed for summer 2026 programs.

Payment options: Families may pay a 10% deposit to reserve a student's place or pay the program fee in full.

If you choose the deposit option, full payment is due two weeks before the student's first day of programming. If payment is not received by this deadline, the student's registration will be canceled.

Program fees: Fees include materials and/or computer lab fees unless otherwise stated. Materials and computer lab fees are not eligible for discounts.

What is the Refund and Withdrawal Policy?

Participants who withdraw from a Temple University summer program at least three weeks before the start date are eligible for a refund, less a $50 withdrawal fee.
