On Friday, March 21, the Department of Landscape Architecture and the SER Mid-Atlantic Chapter will welcome ecological restoration experts, professionals and students for the 9th Annual Society of Ecological Restoration Mid-Atlantic Chapter Conference.

The Temple University Ambler Student Government Association, in partnership with Impact Thrift Stores, will host an outdoor, community-wide collection drive on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Ambler Campus Commuter Parking Lot.

The Center for Sustainable Communities at Temple University has been awarded a $1.235 million grant from the William Penn Foundation to provide oversight, expertise and support for what could potentially be dozens of restoration projects in the suburban portions of five watersheds in the Philadelphia region.

On Monday, April 21, the Ambler Campus Criminal Justice Society will sponsor a “Pathways to Employment” Career Fair that places special emphasis on criminal justice careers. The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Bright Hall Lounge. All majors are invited to attend.

The Criminal Justice Society at Temple University Ambler will host a Spring Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., beginning in Bright Hall Lounge. This family-friendly free event is open to all students, faculty, staff, and the general public.

Hundreds of heroes will be lacing up their walking shoes for the Eastern Montgomery County March of Dimes March for Babies 2014 at Temple University Ambler on Sunday, April 27 — registration begins at 9 a.m. in Bright Hall Circle.

Temple University Ambler EarthFest will be held on Friday, April 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will include more than 75 exhibitors sharing new ideas and concepts with more than 7,000 students, teachers, parents and the public.
